I think the consensus here is the difference between the 150 and 180 engines is the mapping (that is, the computer programme that sits in the ECU), contolling fueling, boost pressure etc.
For a 100% definitive answer, there are a couple of options:
1. Call AmD and arrange a rolling road session to check its output
2. Call in @ an Audi dealer and get them to de-code the vehicle data sticker (in wheel well in boot) or insuide cover of service schedule
